she is napping in her crib
This is the 1st successful attempt I have had at it. She has always napped in her swing or in the car when we are out and about, but I really wanted to try and get her to nap in here crib now that she is getting older. I have been trying it a few times a week, but she usually just screams, so I bring her down and put her in her swing and she falls asleep there. Anyways, last night she slept from 7:30 - till about 8:30 this morning. Then around 10 she was getting fussy so I read her a book and put her down in her crib and she was out like a light as has been for the past 40 minutes. I think she is giong through a growth spurt because she has been sleeping so much. I am glad that she is getting the extra rest she needs, but I miss my baby, it is so lonely with her upstairs...I always liked her napping in the swing next to me because I got to watch her.

That is awesome YAY! I know Austin has always gotten a deeper more restful sleep when left alone in a quiet room (well, as quiet as you can get with white noise)...then again he never napped in his swing after a certain age...
I miss my little man when I put him down for naps too...but isn't it so great to go to her crib when you get her up and see her beaming back at you?
