Thanksgiving question
Where are you guys spending your Thanksgiving Holiday? With family, friends, or at home?
We're seeing my parents for Thanksgiving, since they just moved an hr away from us.

Since we are going home (MA) for Christmas we are spending it with my SIL's in-laws down in Hilton Head. Should be interesting since I don't eat meat and I feel bad saying anything...lots of veggies for me!!
We are going to Callaway Gardens, which is in Georgia, about 30 minutes or from the Alabama state line. We're leaving Wednesday afternoon and staying until Friday. It'll be with David's parents, his brother and brother's wife, aunt, uncle, 2 cousins, and grandparents, all on his mom's side.
I am disappointed that we aren't all staying in Aiken and having TG together (both our families) like we've done the past few years. We are going to Aiken to see my family for the weekend, since TG 2010 is taken away from them too, since David's cousin is getting married the day after TG in Texas. We are telling everyone that are finally getting what we want in 2011 and we're doing the hosting!
I didn't know your parents moved from FL. Which city do they live in now?

We'll be here in G'ville. I've got a turkey dinner all planned out & 2 of my friends from work and one or 2 people that DH works with will be coming over for dinner as well.
I'm definitely looking forward to taking the day and just enjoying it (and of course the turkey and dressing too!!!)
the next day....it's shopping time!!!!!
we're doing our first thanksgiving alone. since we're going to PA to surprise the family for christmas, we're going to have friends over for thanksgiving. i'm kind of nervous, I have never done the turkey before.. and after watching dear foodnetwork.. i'm terrified!
We are staying here. It's too hard of a trip to make to Pittsburgh and after the way the last trip ended (being hit by a drunk driver at 50 mph), I'm not too keen on making the trip again.
We are hosting a dinner for a few of our friends that will be in town as well. Then Friday we are shopping =D.
We're doing Thanksgiving this year with my parents. Day after WE'RE MOVING into our new house.
I'm so excited I can hardly stand it.
I'm definitely looking forward to spending time with DH and my friends!! Cannot wait to shop on Friday-am actually tossing the idea around of going to the outlets in Gaffney for the PJ party....or i might just shop around here in my pj's-who knows-lol at least I'd be comfortable right??
