Gen. Doc and Dermatologist recs???
I'm looking for a new family doctor closer to home (Fenton). Our current doc is out in Wildwood from when we lived out there. I really like him, but his hours seem to be getting shorter and shorter by the year. Also, it would just be nice that if we are sick, not to have to drive 40 minutes to get there. We really don't go that often, but would like to find someone closer... South County area. And, what I love about my current doc is he loads us up with samples! So, that would be a plus!
I'm also looking for a dermatologist again. I was referred to Dr. Wang a while back and I really liked him, however, I can't ever seem to get into him. So, maybe if you know someone in the Chesterfield area where I can go over a lunch break or right after work?????

Hi Amy! I'm in the same boat as you. I'm trying to find a PCP as mine moved to the CWE and that's a bit of a drive from SoCo. I've been thinking about going to Melissa Johnson (located in the St. Anthony's Urgent Care building at 141 and Gravois), or Tracy Fritz at Gravois and Bowles (I figured since our ped is in the same building it would be convenient.)
I'll be curious who others recommend.
either one of those would be perfect for us! the Urgent Care building is 2 seconds from my house and the other is obviously our ped's building. that is only about 5 minutes from our house. That's a good idea... maybe i'll ask dr. mcbride when we see her on tuesday for a rec.

I love my PCP but he's in Olivette so that's probably out. However for a derm, I always recommend Dr. Joseph Duvall at St. John's. He's wonderful and is very highly regarded by his peers.
