Yay...finally I was offered a big girl job! No more working in retail and dead end horrible paying jobs!
It is not my dream graphic designer job, but it is stable with a great company and I am very grateful!
Great pay, awesome benefits, and most importantly a job!

Sommer: I graduated this past May with a BFA in Advertising and Graphic Design. I looked for a job in NJ and NYC for a few months then looked here in AZ for 2 months. My gf in NJ is still looking and has had no luck. It is tough no matter what coast you are on!
If you can intern..do that! It will get your name out there and give you more of an idea of what kind of job you would like (large agency vs small studio) I have done some freelance work, and continue to keep doing it to stay with it.

Its not really in the field per say, but I will be helping future art students.
Plus I will be continuing to seek freelance work to keep my creative juices going.
