I love shopping locally too!

I was asking last week about matresses. Well, we found a place. It's a factory and showroom in one, they make the mattresses on site. Their prices are really good and the sales people are really nice, not pushy at all. Their prices are what they are, no haggling involved. And the mattress set we decided on is soooo comfortable and a lot cheaper than any comparable mattress we have seen in any other store. If you ever need a new mattress, check out ParkLane Mattresses in Tualatin. They also have factory stores in Lake Oswego and Clackamas.

  • That's awesome!! I'm sure they were just as happy!

Learning to start all over again... Blog
  • Great to know.

On a side note... am I the only person who doesn't follow the recommended rotation schedule for mattresses? So bad....

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • It depends on what mattress you have. A lot of newer mattresses don't have to be rotated anymore. The one we bought is a springless mattress with a combination of latex, foam and memory foam and it should not be rotated. Same with most other memory foam mattresses. But we used to have a regular coil mattress too and hardly ever rotated it.

I have a waterbed. mattress cannot be rotated either. I did have a futon for a while and we had to rotate that or it got smushed on one side from people sitting on it.
