Maid Rite!!
Hitched in 06 -- have you tried the Maid Rite there in Peoria? I think it might be on University near BB&B. We only had the small fast food-style one in the mall back home, but Peoria has a pretty big diner. Whenever we go up to Peoria, I make DH take me there for lunch.

I've never been to the Maid Rite there in Metro Centre. Sad, as we used to have an apartment across the street. I wasn't a big red meat fan for many years (bad college food). I make a Maid Rite at home with ground turkey.
Being an "adopted Iowan"... Maid Rite is a big rage out there more so than here (at least from what I can tell).
My grandma used to talk about eating Maid Rite when she was younger. When I finally saw one, I jumped at the chance to eat there. I'm sad that we don't have one here in Decatur. I made DH eat there and he loves it, too!
