My friend Carmen is getting married at the statehouse in December. Does anyone have any suggestions for an officiant... someone affordable, personable, and that will work with them on making the ceremony personal? Thank you so much!!!
Re: Officiant Please
I would highly recommend Rev. Marilynn York- she did our ceremony

She was so great about helping us personalize what we wanted and make it beautiful and not over in a second, but not drawn out either. She was very affordable. She has a "canned" ceremony to get you started, but you can customize it quite a bit. We added a sand ceremony and a couple of prayers- we were very happy with her.
Ours was Judge Pro Temporem Michelle E. Smith from Center Township of Marion County Small Claims Court.
She was wonderful. She can either use her own vows, or you can write them and she'll read them.
We had a statehouse wedding, and I met Michelle at the office that you go to get your marriage license. She was very respectful of our wishes for our big day. She was also easy to work with.
