HVAC Specialists in MKE?

Hi,

Our 2 million-year-old a/c unit is on the fritz (okay, I'm exaggerating a bit). Anyone have any recommendations for a good HVAC company? Or warnings on companies we should avoid? We live in Shorewood.

 TIA,

-C

Re: HVAC Specialists in MKE?

  • Rudy Uttke and Sons http://www.uttkeheating.com/ or Kearns Heating and Cooling 262-629-1751.  We contracted with Uttke but both companies were highly recommended to us.  They were within $200 of each other for brand new system and duct work.  We just randomly picked one in the end because we liked both a lot.

  • I used to work for Ideal Plumbing and Heating.  Good honest people that do good service.  Ask for John Herr.  On a side note (I'm a mechanical engineer that designs HVAC systems for a living) I'd recommend a Lennox or Trane system.  Lennox will be cheaper than the big name systems and is basically the exact same product.  Of the big name brands I would choose a Trane system.  HTH!

  • You guys are great. Thanks!!
