I saw an advance screening of New Moon last night and, much to my delight, it was 1000 X better than Twilight! The acting has improved, the effects are great, CGI was pretty good, character development is on point, it just looks like a bigger, better movie overall. I was completely satisfied.
I connected with the characters much more in this movie. I cried during the breakup scene, held my breath at this pivotal moments between Bella and Jacob (even though you already know how that pans out), was at the edge of my seat through the whole finale in Italy... It's just a whole new experience. Best of all, they stay religiously close to the book. You will not be pissed off at any side-winding plots or changes to the story.
And I GUARANTEE. If you were ever Team Edward before, after this movie you will certainly be Team Jacob!!!
So. Hot. He is seriously dreamy.
Can't wait to hear what the rest of you think after tonight's premiere! I'll be there in my New Moon shirt with the rest of my Twi-hard clan!

Thanks for sharing. The days seem to be moving at a snail pace. The anticipation is killing me.
I was only ever team Jacob for both this book and book 3, but I became a die hard team Edward in book 4.

I am so glad to hear it! I wasn't thrilled with the first movie, and I kept wanting to love it. I just couldn't get into it.
I heard this one would be better because of the new director. Yay!
I don't know if I will ever be Team Jacob though, not my type lol. I like the pale dark haired men. You have made me so excited to see it this weekend!
