i have been calling them all day and no one is answering.  i even sent them an email.  so frustrating!  i was really hoping to stop over today for an u/s.

i guess i am not supposed to find out this baby's sex early!

Since you're almost 16 weeks can you lie and say you're a couple weeks ahead of where you really are?  Maybe you can go in a little earlier?

i dont think i am gutsy enough to do that.  i wanted to get it done before thanksgiving so i would have to lie about 3.5 weeks!  it i have to wait until after thanksgiving i might as well wait for my dr. to order the big u/s!

i was really hoping to find a place that did them at 16 weeks.  i see so many ladies getting them done at 16 weeks it just sucks that there is not one closer to me!

That place is so sketch, lol. We went there after our big u/s when the tech told us she was "80% sure it was a girl." The inside is nice, but the surrounding area is not. And the u/s lasted all of 5 mins -- and I am not kidding. We did get 3 pictures, but that was it.

And in order for them to scan me I had to bring in a previous u/s picture so they could match up the date to make sure I was past 20 weeks.

ugh that's because they're too busy calling me! i sent them an email asking about prices and stuff for a 3d ultrasound and they call me EVERYDAY! I've already talked to someone and have told them this several times lol. (sorry. mini vent) just be patient.. the big u/s will come fast. good luck and i hope you get what you want!

Just a friendly warning..coming from one board certified medical imager many techs that work at those places are NOT board certified that is why they work at places like that..I personally would rather wait to have an u/s by someone that passed thier boards but that is just me.

Shari our docs will order an anatomy scan before 20 weeks. I think they say 18-20 recommending 19 to be safe. 18 isn't 16 and it isn't before thanksgiving, but at least it's sooner than 20! Just be careful because I made an appointment for 18w 0d but Larchmont insisted I was only 17 and would do it. (But I think you have your u/s at the office, not Larchmont, so this shouldn't be a problem for you!)

my next appt is on dec 8th- and anytime after that i can schedule my big u/s!  so only 2-3 more weeks!   not actually sure where the big u/s will be.  we have different insurance now so not sure if it will be the same as with harper
