I am so sick of my horribly dry skin on my face. For a while I was using the BeautiControl product line and my face was fine. Well, I have ran out and thought I would try something a little more accessible. I just bought the Aveeno Positive Radiant line (I love their body wash!). It is making my dry face even worse!
I have these red patches under my eyes, right on my cheek bones. They were there before but now seem to be getting worse. They are red, dry, and flaky - yuck! When I use the moisturizer it burns these red patches. From what I have read on the net, it could be the SPF burning, or it could be an adverse affect from something else in the product.
What do you ladies use for your daily face regimen? Do you have dry skin? Why do I have dry skin in 90% humidity?
Re: Dry Skin
I started using Eucerin products (they also have a redness line) a few years ago. No skin product has been better for my skin. They are super for dry skin, sensitive skin, and redness skin issues.
I suffer from chronic hives...and Eucerin is tremendous for the condition when I have hive breakouts. It helps me soothe them. Also, my dry patches on my legs are relieved from Eucerin calming cream.
They have cleansers, moisterizers, body lotions. Eucerin is also dermatologist recommended. My derm told me he only wants me using that on my skin.
I would look for the complete line at a drugstore or Ulta. I have not been successful finding the redness line anywhere else...like Target. They only carry the basic lotions and stuff. Ulta has the complete line, that is where I get mine.
Hope you get it under control!
You should hit up the counter at any major department store (I go to Macy's) and try Origins. The products are all natural for the most part and they are very helpful with finding what works for your skin. It can be a little expensive if you are use to drug store stuff. I paid $16 for my facewash but I love it and it's still full and I have had it for 3 months!
?I also was a HUGE FAN FOR KEIHLS! It's all natural stuff. You can only get it at Neiman Marcus or at Saks. They have a store at the Pointe as well. It's also more expensive then department store stuff but awesome. I just got tired of driving to Milena and Florida for facewash.
Hope that helps!?
I actually use all clinique stuff and my skin is great now. I especially love the moisturizer. Good luck and let us know what works for you!
Scheduled IVF for April 2013--SURPRISE, don't need it! EDD 9/6/13
Thank you so much, ladies. I will keep all these suggestions in mind as I try to find what will work for me. I went to Target today and bought the Boots No 7 line. It seems like a great product and is supposed to be Britains #1 secret - so, we'll see. I just used it a little bit ago and my face feels great so far.
I will let you all know how it goes. Thanks again!
