I look forward to the days where conversations with my mom no longer start with "So, I saw this thing on Oprah..."  Now only if we could do away with the horrible Dr. Phil, too.

I agree Leigha only it is my MIL that says it.  Now if my FIL would quit with starting every conversation with "On Dr. Oz......."

The older generation in our lives needs more of a life so they have more to talk about with us than what they saw on tv!!

wow, i never thought the day would come...

speaking of Dr. Oz, I have a cousin who is going to be on an upcoming episode about misdiagnosed strokes. i've never seen the show before, is it as bad as dr. phil??

Dr. Oz is more medical than quackery, no? All I know is Phil is a hack. He's lost his license several times in Texas and frequently engages in practices that are frowned upon by his professional community and potentially dangerous to the guests on the show or their loved ones.

I think I might be the only U.S. resident who doesnt even know when Oprah is on TV.  I dont think I have watched a single episode in at least 10 years. 

I dont understand why she felt the need to make a big deal about it now -- its still 2 years away.
