TGIF! I hope everyone had a great and healthy week.
My goals for the week were:
Did you meet your goals?
What kept you motivated?
Are you feeling results?
Re: Friday workout check-in
My goals for the week were: Run on treadmill for 30+ minutes at least 3 times before Friday. Do 10 minute ab workouts at least 3 times before Friday.
Did you meet your goals? Yes and no. I did run on the treadmill for 30+ minutes three days. But when I was done I was too sweaty and exhausted to do a 10 minute ab routine. I did 50 bicycle crunches each night instead.
What kept you motivated? I am officially signed up for the 5k on Thanksgiving and I want to make sure I can run it without dying, and also get a respectable time. I ran 3.1 miles twice to see what I could do for times on the treadmill, and I did pretty well. Next week I am going to run outside on a track so I can figure out pacing without having the machine do it for me.
Are you feeling results? Yes on my endurance, and also my muscles are feeling the results. My legs were super sore yesterday after three days of running in a row. I would love to lose some weight in my stomach area but with all the food I've been eating and will continue to eat for the holidays, I don't think that will happen before the end of the year. As long as I don't keep gaining I will be okay.
My goals for the week were: Just trying to stay as active as possible this week while on a bum ankle.
Did you meet your goals? Not so much. I did play volleyball in my regular league on Monday night and that worked up a decent sweat, but other than that I haven't done much activity this week. I would have gone to yoga on Wednesday night but ended up having to do that stupid NY interview trip instead.
What kept you motivated? N/A
Are you feeling results? I think yoga might be giving me results even after just a couple of sessions. I have to make an effort to keep going.
My goals for the week were: To get some exercise in every day
Did you meet your goals? no---Thursday I just could not squeeze it in
What kept you motivated? I want a better body!!! Ha ha ha
Are you feeling results? noooo...not yet
