Dr office is on my sh!tlist right now
So not only did I have that u/s mix up on Thursday with them, yesterday I went for my 4 wk appt. As I'm signing in, the receptionist says to wait and answers the phone.
A little background: my reg gyno is the main OB in the practice. When I went do my very first appt I was told she wasn't seeing any new OB patients. So instead I've been seeing her partner. She's been great. The 3rd is supposed to be this really awesome dr. So when delivery time comes, I had an option of my gyno dr, OB dr or this 3rd great dr. Seemed like a good option any way.
a month ago, 3rd awesome dr leaves practice. Other drs take her patients. Seemless for me. Yesterday, receptionist proceeds to tell me that now MY OB dr left the practice. So I'm back to who I originally wanted--my gyno dr as my new OB. Really that's quite fine with me. But I'm pissed for 2 reasons.
1. They wait to tell me this as I'm at sign-in and my new OB only sees patients on Mondays so now I have to go back Monday. I work right around the corner so that's not an issue, But I was off so I drove all the way across town to go to it.
2. I kinda think they knew these 2 drs were leaving for a while which may be the reason my gyno dr wasn't seeing any new OB patients. This is a total guess, but seems kinda shady. They should have told me that at first. I would have been fine with it. Just peeved me that they were being shady about it...if it's true.
