**2dbride** (I hope you found the board!)

I'm trying to help a friend find a venue for his wedding...he needs an affordable place with a kitchen where they can DIY food and I was wondering about the house you rented for your MA ceremony.

Where did you find the rental? It seems very affordable. Do you think it would be possible to have a reception there?

If you want to offer any more info not in your review you can also email me 24october2009 [at] gmail

TIA!

Re: **2dbride** (I hope you found the board!)

  • We originally found the place via VRBO (vacation rentals by owner).  Here is the listing for it.  They also advertise on BedandBreakfast.com at this link.

Whether he could have a reception there depends in part on how big a reception he wanted. Outdoors, there is an area around the pool that they say can be used for a ceremony of up to 40 people, but it would hold far fewer than that for a reception.  Indoors, the largest area is the living room/dining room/kitchen area of the two-bedroom unit.  We had up to 10 people sitting around there at any one time, but I wouldn't suggest trying to seat too many more than that.

If you have more specific questions, you can contact me via this link. Good luck to your friend!
