Hi ladies!!! Just wanted to post really quick (I'm very tired from all the weekend activities), that I got the Quality Manager job last week during my trip to St. Louis!!! Yay!!!
I absolutely LOVED St. Charles!!! It's so green!!! AND I never got really hot :-D My work will be in Chesterfield and we're currently looking into buying a house in OFallon (new construction from The Jones Company).
I'm starting on August 4. Yikes!!! And I'm probably going to end up driving with a friend (so I don't have to rent a car for a month!), and then my DH will drive down during Labor Day weekend.
Lots of stuff to look forward to!!! I haven't even done any of the tourist things!!! (no time with the interviewing and house hunting). Wish me luck!!! And I hope I can meet you ladies sometime since right now I only have 1 friend there (my DH friend's girlfriend, who I met this weekend).

Congrats!!! I also work in Chesterfield, right by the mall. It's a great place to work because there are so many places to eat! LOL.

I went to the Chesterfield mall, it's a very nice area. I'll be working off Long. Rd, so it's pretty close to that area.

If you don't mind me asking, what subdivision are you building in? I would love to move closer in towards O'Fallon/St. Peters/St. Charles, but unfortunately its not feasible for us right now.
Anyway, you all are right. We haven't had a g2g in a LONG time. It's definitely time for one. Maybe we can have a Welcome to St. Louis g2g.
We still haven't signed anything, but the subdivision is called Preston Woods - Heartland (I posted a map of where it is on the next post).
