Dog Kennel

Does anyone have any recommendations on a kennel to use in the West Chester, Liberty Township area?  We may have to leave Norton home this trip :(  I'm not looking forward to it.  Any suggestions would be helpful!  TIA!

  • We board and daycare Roxy at a place in Maineville (Four Paws) so it's not that convenient for you. However, if you want the details let me know.

The only place in your area I've experienced is K9 Country Club which is on the border of Mason and West Chester.  We have not boarded there but they have been very accomodating the few times I needed to get Roxy a bath. Nice couple owns the place.

Is this the first time you'll be leaving Norton?  I know some people would scoff and say "it's just a dog" but she is MY dog and I still remember the first time we had to kennel Roxy.  We were gone 3 days and I called twice a day to check!  Wherever you board, I hope it all goes well.

  • Thanks girls!  Yes it is the first time we are leaving him and I'm not very excited about it!  I agree he is my little "son" as we call him!  I'll let you know how it goes!

  • Does your vet have a kennel?  If not I bet they can rec someone they trust.

  • We've used Camp Bow Wow in Blue Ash a few times. I know it's not that close to you, but they have webcams - which I like. And the dog gets to play with other dogs all day long (with the exception of naptime).
  • I know it's outside of your area, but I'd also recommend Camp Bow Wow.  It's the only place we take our dog.
