Digital Camera

So my husband and I are looking to get a new camera. I know there are soooo many out there now so I am trying to figure out which would be best for us. I really want just a good point and shoot camera. We dont do a lot of fancy stuff so just something that is good to take on vacations and that kind of stuff. Any recs? TIA

We bought a kodak for our honeymoon. We had a larger one that was a 12mp, 10x zoom and love it, but just wasn't convenient. The other kodak we bought is smaller, but only 10mp, 3x zoom. It really did the trick, and the panoramic views were awesome for beach scenes. I highly recommend. We bought it from BestBuy, and when it broke after we got home, they immediately got us a new one, which was an upgraded version, delivered to our door. You just have to decide which model you like. In the comparison to Nikon and Sony and one other, it was much better all around, and cheaper. Bonus! I think we paid about 170.

I went through 3 Kodak Point & Shoots before getting smart and purchasing a Canon SD 790 IS. It's an amazing model, but you can't go wrong with any Canon. GL!

You want a Cannon Digital Elph.  It is an awesome point and shoot camera.  You can find them on sale (or an older model will be cheaper), but don't go below about $200 unless it's a great sale.  You get what you pay for.

It's very fast between pictures, even with a flash, and the picture quality is great.  They're also durable, I have one I bought 4 years ago and it's still going strong.  Don't waste your money on a cheap camera, you'll have it for a long time so get something that is easy and fun to use.
