Hand delivering Christmas cards?
So my DH and I ordered Christmas cards this year and are planning on sending them out. We totally forgot that we are going to have to spend money on postage and since we bought about 50 cards that we are planning to send out, it will be about $25 in postage. Is it tacky to hand out as many as we can to people in our family, our friends and co-workers, etc?
Thank you!

I've always sent them in the mail in the past, but then give myself a forehead slap when I realize that for co-workers I could've just put them in the mail, and for church-people, I could've just put them in their church mailbox and saved tons on postage. This would apply to probably about half of my list!
I already bought my postage this year, but I may still put them in their church and work boxes and just save the stamps for later.
I think it's a bit tacky, but I do it anyway, lol. My entire extended family gets together at Thanksgiving, so I hand out cards to people then. However I'm not the only one, many of my cousins hand out cards or pics of their kids, small gifts, etc. We don't see each other at Christmas.
I mail the rest

This. So basically my co-workers (even my really good friends at work) will get theirs hand delivered, and so will most relatives. Though I think next year instead of doing personal cards for each person, I'll do one for each family and mail them.
