My Favorite Solider is Coming Home!
My best friend's husband is coming home from Iraq tomorrow! I am so excited for her - he has been deployed for 14 months and is coming home a 1st Lt from the United States Army! They have been married for 2 years (as of June) and for 1.5 years almost he has been gone.
?I am so happy for her and so proud to say my best friend's husband has been fighting for our freedom!?
Re: My Favorite Solider is Coming Home!
?OMG she so is! I talked to her today and she wanted to scream but couldn't cause she was at Michael's making him a foam finger! lol.?
?She called me today and said that she couldn't eat, sleep, sit still, or stop jumping up and down!?
Woohoo for your brother coming home! Let me know when he does! I want to share you excitement!?
Aw! That's so cute! I can't imagine what the past year and a half have been for her!
That is great news. It's always great to hear about another soldier coming home. I am sure she will give him a very happy homecoming!!!
A friend I work with is over there now and will be back around Dec 1st. We all email him and it always feels so good to see him respond. I can tell in the tone of his emails he is good, and still has his sense of humor. He sends us pictures occasionally including one of him sitting in Sadam Hussiens(sp?) throne. It was gross and the back was all dirty and greasy looking!
That is so great!!! I bet she won't sleep a wink tonight!
Our niece's husband got home from Iraq after serving nearly two years, a year ago. He left 3 days after they got married. It was a very challenging time for both of them.
On another note, my half-brother was just deployed to Iraq 3 weeks ago. The most troubling part about that for me is I have never met him (we have the same father, and I just found out about my 3 half siblings). I hope he comes home safely, especially for his wife and his 4 children's sake.
Oh, that is so awesome for her. I can't imagine being away from my husband that long. I applaud the wives & husbands of all those soliders.
Aww Jenny good for Amy. She finally has her man back! It's got to be tough to be alone for 14 months that's for sure.
That is so awesome!
