This laptop is a BF deal.
I haven't bought a computer of any sort before. I'm hearing mixed reviews, but thought I would check here for one last opinion. I'm going to head over to cnet again for more reviews.
HP laptops- yay or nay?
Good quality?
I'm only looking at getting one for internet use, word/excel use, photo storage and possible music storage.
Thanks!
Re: XP: BF Laptop Deal
I'll do you better than telling you if that's a good laptop for the price or not. At newegg.com I found this laptop.
Not only is it the same price as the HP laptop you're looking at, with the same screen size and resolution, and the same OS (Windows 7 Home Premium), but it ALSO:
- Has a bigger hard drive
- Has more RAM
- Has a faster, dual-core processor
- Has a built-in webcam
- Has a better wireless card (with 802.11n)
- Is thinner
- Weighs less
- Is made by ASUS, a pretty reputable brand
The biggest benefit of all? You don't have to deal with black Friday crowds!
