Vibes/prayers please...
DH's boss has offered DH and I the opportunity to go in with him and buy half the company (he's old and wants to retire), which would be fabulous and something we wished would happen (but only wanted it in a few years when we had more money and i had a job).
We will have to take out a loan with a collateral of our house to help pay our part of the investment. With the economy the way it is, we are pretty hesitant to make that leap right now--i would hate to lose literally everything.
BUT, if we don't buy, then DH has no job (his boss will shut the company down so he can retire) and I am unemployed for another year and a half until i finish school. Thus, neither of us would have income. And, it is so difficult to find a decent job in this economy.
Ugh, dilemma. We have a long night ahead of us. please send your thoughts and prayers that we can figure out the best decision.
