Traffic on Colonial's going to be bad today ...

... because of the Palin book-signing. I was watching the news around 5 a.m. and people were already lined up all the way around the building in front of the bookstore and the Petco next door.

I'm glad I sent my DH to Petco to go pick up dog food last night. He never would have been able to get in there with the crowd that's there today.

Isn't the book signing tonight at like 7?  And people are already lined up?  Good thing I don't need to go that way for anything.

Seems like most of America thought she was a big joke. Now all of the sudden she has this HUGE fanbase!

I went to that Barnes and Noble last night at 9 and people were already in their tents around the building.

I work right by this plaza and the line was insane when I passed by at 7:20. Wrapped around the building and going down the sidewalk down the street! WOW

Yikes! I thought it was bad that they were out there at 5 a.m.

However, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. People camped out for at least two days--and I am not exaggerating--when the new Chick-Fil-A in my neighborhood opened ... just to get some coupons for free sandwiches.

 I think some people just like an excuse to get out their camping gear!
