Green bean casserole question
I want to make a green bean casserole for thanksgiving, but the only chance I have to prepare it is tonight. Do you think if I made the mixture and left it in my fridge that it would be okay to bake on Thursday?
The mixture is, cream of mushroom soup, milk, greenbeans, and french's onions.
Re: Green bean casserole question
I wouldn't put the french's onions in it yet, but the other stuff should be fine.

My thoughts exactly.
Honestly, I wouldn't do anything until Thursday. Aside from the sogginess of the onions, your green beans might get waterlogged too if you prepare it too early. Green bean casserole takes literally 5 minutes to throw together. Even if you have to get out of bed 5 minutes earlier, I think it's worth it to wait.
Chrissy out.

Everyone else gave such good advice, there's really nothing I can say.
And Dandy, I challenge you to hate my green bean casserole. It's fresh green beans, fresh mushrooms (button, crimini and shiitake) and white cheddar. It is seriously good.
