How does everyone display their Christmas Cards?

Just wondering. I would like to know what to do with them.

Re: How does everyone display their Christmas Cards?

  • We have a blank wall in our kitchen/entryway where we hang them. ?We stick painter's tape on the back of the cards to stick them on the wall, that way it doesn't damage the wall and the tape comes of the cards easily.
  • I string a couple lengths of pretty ribbon down the wall and attach them with clothes pins.
    nothing
  • We'll be putting them on our pantry door. If it gets full, we'll move onto the closet door in the living room.
  • I made a clothes line with ribbon from stocking to stocking, and used mini clips.  Last year it got too cluttered, so I thank you for this post so i can grab a new idea.
  • I just put them on the mantle, gets a little crowded, but oh well...

  • I don't really "display" them but ours go in a christmas basket by the front door.  If someone really wants to read them they can just grab the basket.  The photo cards usually go on the fridge.

  • I usually tape them to a door or wall in the shape of a Christmas tree
    ... Corny, I know.

I think this year I'm going to try the ribbon and clothes pin idea from this post, so thanks!!

  • I hang them around the doorway between my living room and kitchen.
  • Well, here are a few ideas.....

my mom uses a hole puncher for the corner of the card, then takes the curling ribbon and ties the cards to her staircase bannister.

I have those white wider plantation type horizontal blinds and i have a big double window in the kitchen so I slide the cards in rows on them.

Also, i have a marble surround on my fireplace so i was thinking of taping the cards to that, so it' looks like a christmas card mosaic around my fireplace :)

  • I use gum tack to put them around the door frame going from our living room into our bedroom.  When I run out of room there, I put them on the back of the front door.

  • Our kitchen counter/breakfast bar gets turned into Holiday central.  We put the menorah in the middle, and holiday cards on either side.

  • they have some really cool things out there you can buy if you'd like.....

my mom had gotten some type of card holder that looks like a snowman and all the cards fit into the ribbons zig zagged on the front.....my only issue with that one was you can't have the card open....

they have some thing that look like picture "tree" type thing but function to hold cards.....

my parents get a ton of holiday cards and they have a pretty big dining room table sometimes my mom will use a large circular mirror tile and put all the cards running in a circle loop.....

also....some type of inside garland above large double doorways like a living room into a dining room with the cards hanging off that is really pretty.....i've seen that a few times with use of ribbons, etc!
