The big stuff, turkey, ham, stuffing, veggies, sweet potato - everyone else is brinign the rest

After the dishes are done - relaxing - we watch Christmas Vacation every year to officially gear up for the upcoming season!

The food, so yummy. And having the whole family together - I love any excuse to see my darling three nieces!

Sweet corn casserole, Apple Crisp, Pumpkin Roll, Various Cookies. I provide the sugar coma.

Relaxing with family. Watching cheesy Christmas movies.

Our friends - the all the ones who dont have family in the city.

We are cooking everything! Everyone else is bringing the drinks.

My carrot souffle! Its so delicious and so horrible for you that I try to only make it once a year.

I will help my grandma make a traditional german meal... we all kinda help

turkey trot 5K run with my sister on thanksgiving morning. I only get to do it every other year now that we go to the hubbies hometown on oppisite years!

We will start off at my parent's house for dinner and then his parent's house for dessert. We just got married and have decided how we're going to handle holidays yet.

NOTHING! I get off easy. But we did have a friends thanksgiving last weekend and I made my nana's corn and a greenbean cassarole thing.
4. Favorite part of Thanksgiving?
Food!!!!!! I LOVE thanksgiving dinner. It's all my favorites....turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing! Yum! And seeing the family is great too!!!! And I'll say it....being off work for 4 days is pretty nice too

We are going out to dinner at a nice restaurant. I know, my DH thinks it is weird too. I am used to it. My family doesn't cook for Turkey Day. Judging by how hard it is to get reservations- we are not the only ones!

Seeing family and friends, taking some time off of work, and of course- black Friday shopping!

My side this year, his side will get us next year- we're going to do the every other year thing.

Pumpkin cheesecake and caramel apple pie- I'm always in charge of dessert!

The food of course, but also the time off work to spend with family.
