Ok...so I am changing my name at the following places....help me think of anywhere else...

• Social Security
• DMV
• Passport
• Creditors

I drive DHs car...gave mine back at end of lease term.

I live with parents til DH gets back...

Can you ladies think of anywhere else?

What about health insurance and car insurance?  I'm assuming creditors includes students loans and all that fun stuff.  I thought you were thinking about keeping your maiden name?  Did you change your mind?

Yes...I did...errg. So annoying. J is really sad that I did not want to change it.. so I am making my madien name my middle name and my married name my last name... So I will have two middle names...PITA! LOL...are you on gmail right now?

Do you have frequent fliyer miles with anyone?  i just recently changed my name with Southwest and United.  You have to send them a copy of your marriage cert. to change the miles over from your maiden name to your married name so you can get credit on future flights and use any accrued miles.

mom-in-law did the same, but she never uses her birth middle name. . . uh is that what you'd call it?  but technically she has 2 middle names.

any bills in your name, w4's @ work (or is it w2?  sorry, i'm getting tired!),  doctor/dentist records.

there's something else, but it just escaped my brain.  if i remember, i'll let you know.

this may be silly, but i kept one of my old checks (shredded the rest).  i wanted to have something w/ my maiden name.  besides it's a hello kitty.

If you do alot of things online you need to change like ebay or amazon.com, maybe paypal anything you do online needs your new name and address as well

You're doing more than I!  I changed SS, DL, and then my bank account.  I'm just now getting around to my work.  I should do my passport soon, but I'm being lazy on that, too.  I'll do it eventually.  Everything else is slowly working itself out.
