If you have a nativity, where do you put it?

I have always wanted a nativity set.  I'm just not sure if I got one where I would display it.  If you have one, where is yours during the Holidays?

We usually set ours out in our living room on the sofa table. It's the perfect spot! I look forward to putting it up every year.

I think they can look cute ontop of mantles...I don't like them when their on end tables, I like them a little higher...I have no idea why I think this way

I have 3. One big one....in my entry way on a side table. One very small one, on an end table in the TV room, and one that was my grandparents, on my side table next to my bed.

I got the Willow tree nativity last year from my FMIL. I LOVE it! Its gorgeous. We put it on top of a short bookshelf in our living room.

To answer the OP's question, we will put ours on our dresser in our bedroom.

Mine is on the top of the computer desk in the kitchen. I've set it under the Christmas tree before also. (It's a bigger set)

I usually put ours on the entertainment center, but we have a new one this year that's really tall and not flat on top.  I'm not sure where I'm going to stick it,

For our wedding, we were given a handmade one from a family friend... It is beautiful but I have no clue where to put it.  Our mantle isn't deep enough (we can just set small things and picture frames on it) and we have a 5-year-old in the house so I don't want to put it on a table or under the tree.

I might go get a bookshelf to put it on top of ... eek!

What do you usually put under it? Nothing, or some fancy fabric or doily?

My mom used to put fake straw under her larger one. It gave it that stable feel ?

I grew up with ours displayed under the tree, but I collect nativity sets and creches, and have them on shelves, tables, under trees and wherever I can find space for them.

We have a very modern nativity scene.  We have it displayed on our mantle.
