Who's going shopping on Black Friday? Where are you going? Do you have a specific thing you want to buy?
Re: Black Friday
My Blog!
I don't plan on to...unless I find the perfect 40" TV on sale. DH and I both want one for christmas.
Going to the mall with my mom and sister just because we go every year. I don't think any of us are looking for anything special. Afterwards hanging out with DH's cousins at our house because Thanksgiving dinner with that side of the family isn't until Sunday and I love hanging out with these cousins.
DH offered to go with his brother, so I get to stay warm and cozy in my bed at 4 am this year! The only thing I told DH to get was one of the $25 vacuums from either Wal-Mart or Target. We really need a new one, and without much carpet in our house we don't need a really fancy one. I'll be really happy if we can get one for $25!
DH is on the hunt for a Wii, he has wanted one for a while now, and it trying to track down the best deal.
The crowds kind of freak me out but I am sort of thinking about going this year. I saw a lot of things in the walmart sales paper that I'd really like to get and a couple at lowes.
Joanns also has really good deals on diecutting machines which I'm trying to convince myself I don't need.
I'm going with my mom just because we go every year. This year I really don't need anything. So if anything I'll prob just buy stuff for myself
Here is a great website for those of you that are going to go out shopping. It has all of the stores down the right hand side of the website and all of the ads are scanned so you don't have to buy a paper if you don't want to.

laniemarie - Walmart has a 40" Sony for $598. They have a lot of tvs on sale.
Also, if you find an open box tv at Best Buy (on a normal day, not black friday) you can talk to a manager and get the price down even lower. If they feel like it they can sell it to you pretty cheap depending on the brand.
Actually, if you talk to a manager at most stores (regardless of the state of the item), you can talk them down on almost anything. We do it all the time.
The plan is...(DH is actually going for the first time!! I told him to be scared and ready to push people out of the way haha!)
Target: They have a 99$ really good pot set for 49.99$, also some nice hoodies with fleece inside for like 11$. I need a new hoodie that will keep me warm at work.
Fred Meyer: I work here and they always have half price socks, tupperwear, gloves, movies ect.
I just have to remember to pick up the paper tomorrow so I can stake out what I want and when we got to be there. I wanted to go to Walmart but its 30 mins away to pick up the DS lite for 99$.
Foto, I'm with you, something about Black Friday turns otherwise normal respectable citizens into crazy monsters. I usually end up getting yelled at for meandering my way up the aisles. One year an old lady actually hit me with a bed in a bag set (wound up and swung it with both hands!) to get me out of the way - an "excuse me" would have done the trick, but that was MUCH more memorable, hehe. I'm going with H just to watch people behave like lunatics and just pick up a few things for the nieces and nephews.
My Blog!
I'm not a fan of Black Friday and haven't done it in years. I've recently realized that I can find the same deals online late on Thanksgiving night with free shipping, so what's the point. I already got the camera I wanted....we just ordered my parents computer that we said we were going to buy, and now isn't the time for us to buy a tv since we're still in furniture shopping mode.
So...I'm going to decorate on Friday. YIPPPEEEEE!!!!
Thank you!
That one is almost right we just need 120hz instead of 60hz. I'm going to check out that black friday website maybe I'll find something.
My plan is to not make the news as the trampled customer; so I'm going to stay in.
