Red Star in Greenpoint Bklyn- the bartenders are awesome, the food is amazing and you get such a mix of locals, hipsters and tourists.
I have to say McFadden's cause my sister bartends there.
Dos Caminos makes an great prickly pear maragita and the food is good.
I also like Delancy for the vibe, Annex for a good dancing time and Pianos for good music.

i also like the magician for top shelf cocktails for $4 until 8pm every.night.
Magician should be my next stop then. I only go to the happy hour el cheapo spots therefore it should be no surprise that my favorite spot for a drink is Latitude! LOL For $3 - $4 you can't beat their happy hour cocktail prices. I am kinda addicted to their margaritas!
I am definitely going to return to Chef Yu as well, since their Blue Hawaii was a steal for $4 too! You can't go wrong, man!

I have to plug my friends bar Nelson Blue. I wouldn't be a good friend if I didn't. It's down at the South Street Seaport. Real down to earth, comfortable and trendy without being stuffy. Ask for Pauli he makes the world's best Mojito. Huge selection of wine too!
I love Mexican Radio on Lafayette for margaritas. They are fantastic and great food too.
