When will you get your tree?
Real or Fake?
When will you do the rest of your decorating?
Re: Holiday decorating
We are bah humbug this year. I'm wrapped up in finals and we are going home for Christmas so I decided it's too much work (we'd have about a week at home with the tree up)
I might look for the front door decorations and put those up in the next week or so. At least we can look festive from the outside
I am really sad about this, but no decorating this year. We will probably be moving Christmas weekend
Typically my answers would be:
real tree
put it up around the 10th
decorate the exterior & put up other decor prior to.
real tree, always. we don't do fake trees, even though they're probably much more practical.
i think we'll get it mid-december. we don't usually do it too early and it always waits for a weekend that the teen is home.
as for the rest, who knows? all our stuff is in storage, and i don't know if we're going to want to dig in to get it out.
I will put mine up Friday. I would have put it up at the begining of this week but M would not have any of it. I started wrapping presents yesterday and hubs thought I was bananas.
Oh well. I did put our stockings up already.
Our tree is fake a 6 1/2 pre lit fakie that looks pretty cool. Last year I was annoyed my tree got so dry so fast so the day after Christmas I went out and bought it.
1st weekend of December.
Real...the smell of fresh pine is intoxicating.
Starting this Friday, the hubs will be out of town for the next 3 weeks - he will take care of the outside lights this weekend before he leaves. I will take care of the rest. It's our first Christmas in our home...so it's going to be nice. ;-)

We will put up the Xmas tree this week
We will be using the fake kind
We will do all the decorating this week. The Xmas holidays go way to fast so it's best to put it up early and enjoy it for as long as we can.

Probably when we get back on Sunday, if we're not too tired. It's a pre-lit fake tree, so getting it up is super easy. We have some stockings and a table runner and that's about it.
I'm so excited! I am completely against anything Christmas until after Thanksgiving, but after that I'm all about the holiday. We'll play Christmas music at home through all of December and I do cheesy stuff like only drink out of my Santa mug. We're not doing much in the way of gifts this year, but I just love the whole spirit of it!
We'll probably get the tree next week.
Real for sure!
Same day as the tree.
I am so excited to have our first Christmas with our LO, I started singing her Christmas songs last week.
We put our tree up on Thursday, after turkey dinner. We got a new 9ft fake tree. LOVE it. I'll be putting my old fakie (6ft) on Craigslist, hopefully somebody will buy it.
We also put up most of our decorations on Thursday, and I already have a bunch of gifts under the tree. Weeeeeeeee!
