My in-laws are coming to our house for Thanksgiving but they are showing up tonight. What should I make for breakfast in the morning? Since this is my FIRST Thanksgiving I don't really want to worry about making a big elaborate breakfast for them, but I don't want them to starve either...

Bacon, Grits, and Eggs!
or a breakfast sandwich works.
I would have coffe/tea available as well as juice and milk.
If you want a hot breakfast: eggs, bacon and/or sausage, & toast - easy and filling. If you want something sweet - make refrigerated cinnamon rolls as well or instead of toast.
You could also stock up on any of the following and let people fend for themselves:
A quiche or a french toast casserole. Here are mine. You could start them tonight and finish them tomorrow.

Super ez- Blueberry buckle
Use cooking spray or grease a 9 x 13 pan
Melt a stick of butter in the microwave
Use 2 cans of Grand buttermilk/country style biscuits- quarter them, dip in butter, dip in a mix of sugar/brown sugar/cinnamon (3/4 c. of each, 1 1/4 tsp cinnamon), arrange in a single layer (touching each other), sprinkle 1 basket/pint of washed (and dried beforehand) blueberries.
Bake 350-375 for 30-35 minutes -
Cool - (1 c. powdered sugar, a smidge of water or milk and 1/2-1 tsp of pure vanilla) use as drizzle icing.
Makes the house smell absolutely fantastic - comes right up the top-bubbly and golden and looks great. Everyone asks for the recipe. Side of bacon or sausage and OJ and you're good to go! I make this for most family get togethers and baby showers!
Thanks everyone! My in-laws ended up staying until Sunday afternoon (awesome.) so I had a few breakfasts (and lunches, and dinners) to make. These ideas were great!
I'm happy to have my house to myself again.
