March 2006 Weddings
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

Please take over our contract posts?

Are these allowed?

We had one girl come on and praise a venue and then ask if anyone wanted to use it on 10/10/10 because they changed their minds.

I know you can sell leftover items, but what about venues?

Re: Please take over our contract posts?

  • Doesn't sound like it's breaking any rules until she starts posting it repeatedly, then it'd be spam.  What are your concerns with the post?

  • Ditto pp. If it's not posted repeatedly, I leave it. I see these types of posts more often from brides who canceled their wedding, but the reason doesn't matter. It's a win-win for brides looking for last minute bookings or good deals, and the bride who posted it makes out too.
  • I've seen those a lot and never deleted them.  Unless she is spamming your board with it, then I'd let it go.
