in honor of Thanksgiving

Let's all write 3 things that we're thankful for this year. Smile

  1. I'm thankful for my wonderful husband. We've been through a lot this year, and he's been amazing through all of it - sometimes I can't believe how lucky I am to have him in my life.
  2. I'm thankful that I got to start my MLS degree this year. It was a bumpy ride to get there, and I'm very grateful that I could get it going (even if it was a slow start!).
  3. I'm thankful that our twins are healthy and seem to be happy to stick around. Still terrified at the prospect of two babies at once (and it would be nice to finally feel them move!), lol, but thankful anyway.

Re: in honor of Thanksgiving

  • 1.  I'm thankful for my great family.  I adore my in-laws, my mom is wonderful, and my sister is my best friend.  And, since now MH is family, too, since we got married, he's the best part!

    2.  I'm so thankful to be KU!  I have wanted this for so long!

    3.  I'm thankful for my job.  I love my job, and (most days) like going to it each morning.  My students make me laugh every day!

  • 1. I'm thankful for my little family - my hubby, who is my bestest friend, and who makes me laugh every day; our little ellie, the cutest dog in the whole wide world; and our little girl, who is so far growing healthy and strong.

    2. I'm thankful I got called off from work tonight!  Even though I am now on call all night (they probably won't need me), I get to go shopping!  Woohoo!

    3. I'm thankful that we are financially stable in this time of economic hardship.  I'm especially thankful that I don't have to go back to work (at least not full time) after baby is born.  I might, because we'll be better off, but I know I won't want to and I'm glad that I have options (part time or per diem).

  • wow so many things to be thankful for.

First and foremost my husband who is the light of my life and my person in this world.

Second to have such a wonderful network of friends and family and the most loving furbaby-feel so blessed with all the love in my life

mine and my husband's health-as some of you know a very close friend of ours is very sick and fighting for her life, and I am thankful everyday for good health

and if i could have one wish this holiday season i would forego everything else-would be for my friend's cancer to go into total remission

  • 1) My husband, who loves and supports me without reservation, hestitation or condition and demonstrates it actively each day.

    2) My sweet baby girl growing bigger and stronger within me each day, I cannot wait to meet her!

    3) My excellent heath care and insurance, I cannot imagine having gone through this past year without it.

  • Hooray for Thanksgiving!  I could give silly answers here, like, "I'm thankful for garlic mashed potatoes" (which I AM!) but given that I have so many more substantial things to be thankful for, here goes:

    1.  I am thankful for my wonderful family; my hubs, parents, brother, and two little pugs give me so much love, support, and joy on a daily basis.

    2.  I am thankful for my current job.  I didn't realize how unhappy I'd become in my old job (thanks to recording all of my time in 6-minute increments and spending the majority of my days fighting with a-holes on the phone).  I am so much happier now and love what I'm doing.

    3.  I am thankful for the opportunity to travel.  Given these challenging economic times, we still are able to get out of town from time to time, which is a huge part of MH and my life.

  • 1. I'm thankful for my husband, who is my best friend and truly my other half.  I can't imagine my life without him in it.

    2. I'm thankful for my family, who I only get to see once a year but I love them very much, and it's nice to know that even when we're far from each other, we're always in each other's hearts.

    3. I'm thankful that I didn't poison DH and myself by improperly roasting my first-ever turkey.

    1. I am also very thankful to God for my husband who is the perfect one for me.  Our love is amazing!
    2. I'm also grateful for very good health this yr.  I've had many challenges over the yrs and this has been an especially good one for me.
    3.  As a pp said above, I'm also thankful that despite these "tough ecomonic times", we have not been affected.  But I'm also happy to say that we have not been blind or deaf regarding the needs of others who have been affected.  We have agreed to help people financially and/or w/ groceries, etc when we have become aware of their specific needs.
  • Good idea!!  Our Thanksgiving was in October, but I'm still just as thankful today for my list!!

    1) My husband.  He is my favorite person in the world.  I feel so lucky to have his love and support.

    2) My baby that is going to make his or her apearance any day now!  I feel so blessed that I've had a good pregnancy and my baby is health.

    3) Our family (including Jackson!!).

    4) I'm also thankful for the vanilla cupcakes that I'm baking right now!

  • I'm so thankful for so many things....I was telling my stepdaughter last weekend how lucky we are!

1 - I am so very thankful for my husband.  He loves me so much and tries hard every day to make sure I know it.  I take him for granted a lot, but he goes above and beyond to spoil me (new years resolutions there - stop taking MH for granted!).

2 - I am thankful for my dog.  Sounds corny, but she truly is a bright spot in an otherwise sometimes grim world.

3 - I am thankful for my career opportunities.  Over the past year I've weathered a lot in trying to make a career change after 16 years in the same field and I'm grateful to finally be seeing the results of all of my hard work!

  • 1. I'm so thankful for Annalise, esp after all we went through to have her.

    2.  I'm thankful for MH who has been very supportive throughout the pregnancy, labor, and now post partum

    3. I'm thankful for our families - this is the first Thanksgiving where we have been able to have both sides of the family come together for the holiday. usually we go to the in-laws for Thanksgiving and my family's place for Christmas.

  • Better late than never right?

    1. I'm thankful to be spending Thanksgiving with both my family (first time in 7 years!) and the hubby's family. Our first as one big ohana!

     2. I'm thankful that my cousin is alive and conscious. She was hit by a car a few days ago, and is still in the hospital having surgery for all her broken bones. :( But she will recover which is the good thing.

     3. I'm thankful to have so many loving and caring friends and family. The wedding festivities would not have been possible without all the help from everyone.

  • 1) I'm thankful for my husband and family.

    2) I'm thankful I have a job with great benefits.

    3) I'm thankful we're both at a place in our lives when we can focus on travelling and exploring the world, while beginning to build our nest. It's nice to have that freedom!
