OB/GYN recs?

I am looking for a new doctor as we TTC baby #2.  I have had some diffculties and my doctor has failed to follow through with a few things.  I would prefer someone in the west county area.

I love my ob/gyn.  I have been going to him for 14 years (since I was 18) and he's great.  He always answers my questions and I have tons!  Plus, through some health problems and post surgery with him operating, he was always willing to let me make the best decision for my life.  He never imposed any treatment on me but was willing to go further if I wanted to as well.  Now that I am closer to wanting to TTC, he has been supportive in helping decide what's best.

I love my OB. I'm actually on my way there today for my glucose screen.  I see Laurie Klabi at Mo Bap.  She's great. I really like all her partners as well.  Good Luck!

I see Blase Pignotti at St Johns.  He is fantastic.  We changed to him when I was 8 weeks pregnant because I had some issues with my previous OB.  My first appointment w Dr Pignotti wasn't the greatest because he got to confirm my miscarriage, but we clicked right away and he was super supportive.  Very smart and but with a great bedside manner as well.  I got his name from several docs with whom I work, and they were right.  Where I had nothing but negative things to say about my previous doc, I can't think of a single negative to pass on with him.

There're 3 docs in the practice (docs McDonald, Hartman, and Levy).  Met with Hartman once, he's a freaking hoot (wears a bowtie everyday, when I met with one he was wearing a polka dot tie, not too comfy with the internals though).  I saw McDonald through my whole pg (except for my one appt with Hartman) and was lucky enough that he was on-call when I had DS.  His exams are a breeze (literally, my last pap I didn't even feel, I actually did question him when he said he was done).

i see dr. boyd as well.  he was great throughout my pregnancy.  i really love him as a doc!

I see Dr. Becky Shelton and Dr Cindy Bechtel at Mercy Medical Group. They are located in the Manchester/270 area.

I love it there. They answer every question and tell you even more. They just make you feel comfortable.

Dr. Shelton delivered my son at St. Johns. That is the only place she goes.

Dr. Becky Shelton is wonderful!!! I'm due in 3 weeks and have had a great experience with her throughout my pregnancy.  I'd been going to her for regular GYN care for the past 3-4 years.  I also really like her nurse practitioner, Cindy Bechtel.  They are really good listeners and always make me feel very comfortable.

Dr. McDonald in Kirkwood is amazing! I actually left there feeling inspired! Very knowledgeable, thorough, and excellent people skills. I tell all my female friends about him.
