As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Skunks!
DH put a bag of trash out on the deck last night while he was grilling and was just waiting for us to finish eating to throw out our corn cobs and chicken bones in it and take it to the dumpster. (Holy run-on sentence Batman!) Well, he forgot about it, we both did. And I happened to look out the back door this morning and thought, huh, that's weird, why is there a napkin on the deck? Then I opened the door. Ah yes, that nice aroma of skunk out there. The chicken bones and corn cobs on the deck along with other various food things and a nice ripped up bag. Mmmm, I'm not sure I want to pick it up, I may have DH do it. Hehehe! Oh well, I'll probably get out some gloves and do it later, once the smell goes away a little!
What good are my cats if they didn't wake me up to tell me, hey mom, there's a skunk eating our old food outside?

Eeeww.. Yucky.
Last summer every morning at like 4:30 I would wake to the smell of skunk wafting in the window. This summer I haven't smelled them. Hopefully they have found new stomping grounds.
Gross! A skunk sprayed my car a couple of weeks ago. It was so gross! I have no idea what would have provoked it. The car was parked in my driveway and no one was near it when it happened!
I hate picking up garbage like that though, so I feel for you. I think I even preferred having the skunk smell on the car for a few days over that!
