Vacation in December - Is the Cowboy Christmas at Enchanted Springs ranch worth the trip?
We have a ton of stuff planned already... Sea World, Six Flags, Schlitterbahn's Christmas, San Antonio zoo. Is it worth it to make a trip to Boerne to go to the ranch?

I don't know about Enchanted Springs ranch, but Boerne (the town) always goes all out for Christmas. They have a different theme/thing going every week in December. It's OK, but mostly its just a big open house for all the touristy/gift shops downtown. They also have a craft fair and a river parade.
Be sure not to miss going to downtown San Antonio during your visit. Ride one of the river boats at night for a nice tour and some beautiful lights. The key is to buy your tickets earlier in the afternoon so you can skip the ticket line (still have to wait in the boat line, but it cuts wait time in half).
Its a family tradition we do every year and it wouldn't be Christmas without it!
