So, before I head out to babies r us and get a few newly-necessary things...
This is what my son did this morning.

I have been in tears. When you watch it, he's not doing it by accident. He's very deliberate (and dare I say graceful?) about it. I called JoyLoveRings to tell her that I would be signing Alex up with her, b/c any kid who can throw a leg that high should be nurtured, IMO. I just feel like he's in such a rush to grow up. He's only 15 months old and I miss my baby. Maybe that makes me a goober, but seriously, I've been so upset this morning because of this. I'm proud of him but so sad at the same time.
Now, that said, i promised some pics of the trip. He had a lot of fun, obviously.
Our favorite pic of him from the trip:

I have a ton of pics but I don't want to clog the post.
Re: Okay. Updates. (video and pic)
Yikes Heather, you are in trouble! That is one of my biggest fears, please don't let Alex teach Owen.
Looks like you had a great time. Love your favorite pic of Alex!
Yikes! looks like he's ready for a big boy bed!
Oh gosh Heather!! That scares the crap out of me!! This is one of my hugest fears.. especially in the middle of the night!! Thank god Brianna has not even attempted to do this! But she is a climber.. so I think its only a matter of time!!
The pictures are great! It looks like you all had a great time!!
It makes me sad too that they grow SO fast!! ; (
oooh bad boy! Wow, please don't let him teach his friend that!
Sorry friend, hugs!
OK- so now that I have no "babies" in the house anymore- I can say that that is hysterical! If I still had a baby- it would freak me out Looks like it is time for a toddler bed.
I remember when Madison was a baby I woke up one morning ot her standing next to me. Scared the hell out of me- she had climber over her crib and was waiting for me to wake up. Kids are funny!
Follow my SK blog as I reread the entire SK library (again!):

Whoa! ?Alex is not allowed to teach Ben that, ok??
Your trip looked like so much fun!?
Oh holy crap!! I see why you would be in tears. What a little overachiever but yea, wow he is growing up so fast!!
So what are you guys going to do?? BTW, please clog the board with pics, I love seeing pics of Alex, he is so frickin cute!! If not email me a link so I can see.
PS- where did you stay? It looks great!
OH MY GOODNESS! He is good!
I vote for more pictures! He's such a cutie!
OMG - Jakob is 2 1/2 and has NEVER done that! I'm sure that he could by this point if he wanted to.
I agree, though - he is young but it is definitely time for the toddler bed!
Wow!! What a big boy, I always have mixed bittersweet feelings when Owen does something new that makes him less of a baby. At least you have a new baby on the way.
It looks like you had a great vacation!
We were at the Wequassett in Chatham, Beth. Off Exit 11.
Yeah. We were lucky last night b/c Alex went to bed normally WHEN HE WAS READY AND NOT BEFORE (which ended up being 9pm). We tried at 8pm and that was a no. However, when he went down he was fine and he just had a bit of trouble climbing out this morning, unfortunately, so he got upset.
We're putting the toddler bed together today. I ordered Molly's crib today and we already figured out how to rearrange the room for the two of them, even though it will only be until we get a new place next year.
Okay, and now that I got permission to brag s'more, I'll post up more pictures.
Alex discovered that plantation shutters are a lot of fun.
He also finally agreed to wear his sunglasses for more than 5 seconds, but only if DH and I squealed COOL DUDE at him repeatedly when he wore them.
Let's ignore the trashiness that is my chipped toenail polish in this otherwise lovely picture.I'm happy because I still have semi normal ankles~!
For some reason, the poolside servers were very attentive to this particular guest...
Alex had his breakfast every morning in HIS chair. He decided on the first day that it was his seat and we would pull it up to the table when we ate, but he could watch cartoons quite happily while he ate his cheerios in it.
Some miscellaneous scenery pics...
