Re: What kind of job do you have???
I work in school publishing doing project management with our marketing department. If you would have asked me when I was younger what I wanted to do as an adult this was definitely not on the list! I kind of fell into the position! lol.... But it's a job and I'm as thankful as one can be for it!
On a side note: Sales are way down due to our economy and the lack of funding for public schools to adopt new books which equals more and more layoffs each and every month.
My title is "Billing Specialist"- billing & coding in an urgent care facility. But that doesn't even break the surface of what i actually do.
But, i'm thankful to have a secure job so I won't complain!
I've thought about doing something like this... glad to hear you love it! Let me know if your company has any openings! lol...
I'm a Contracts Negotiator for a government defense company. It's interesting for the most part and a little complicated at times...but I have a great boss and a super flexible schedule so I can't complain. I work full-time now and plan to continue after our little girl gets here, but will probably work from home 2-3 days a week.
And I agree, any job is a good job these days!!
I write/analyze/recommend/revise various training for the Coast Guard and Navy. Love it!
I'm a public relations specialist for a utility. I spend more time in my cubicle writing than anything else. It's interesting work, but definitely not as flashy (or superficial) as the job is often portrayed on TV and the movies.
Check higheredjobs.com, and the HR pages of our local colleges. Let me know if you have any questions about it.
