I finally decided that I need to wean myself off The Knot. So, I thought I'd come over and check out things at The Nest.
Did anyone else find themselves still reading wedding blogs and checking out articles with titles like, "101 New Ideas for Your Reception" for over a month after your wedding?

I totally thought I was going to be into wedding stuff after the wedding. It was the complete opposite though. I have barely looked at anything wedding related since the big day. It's kind of sad since wedding planning was my life for 20 months!

Thanks for the compliments on the pic and the warm welcome! I've tried posting more pics to my bio, but for some reason, it doesn't seem to like the URL code from my Photoshop.com gallery. If anyone knows what the problem might be, please let me know!
dmw531--You still don't have your album?! Oh wow. Now I'm a little scared. How long ago did you actually order the album? Has Heather given you a reason that it's taking so long? It took just a little over a month to see our pics online. And that was a couple weeks after I sent a "how's our pics coming along?" email. I'm supposed to go pick up the disc with all our pics tonight. I'm hoping the pics on the disc are in order, because in the online gallery, there are pics from the ceremony mixed in with the getting ready and first look pics.
Other than how long it seems to take for everything (I seem to remember it taking a while for our engagement pics, too), we've been very pleased with them. We'll likely use them in the future, and I would definitely recommend them, but only to someone who has the ability to be patient. And yes, patience is a very difficult thing for me!
