I'm tapping out on 2009
My grandfather passed away this morning. Not unexpected, just kind of a punch in the gut after this hellish year. We've already purchased our uber-expensive tickets to go back home for Christmas, and we can't afford to fly back for his funeral.
Man. It can only be uphill from here, right? (knocks on wood)

So sorry babe. My thoughts are with you - that sucks but I feel ya. So many times things have happened with family in Mexico and we've been unable to attend because of cost of airfaire when we haven't been able to afford it.
Thankfully, your family will know they're in your thoughts and prayers also- and sometimes that's what's most important after all.
So sorry for your loss. Big hugs friend.
