well that was annoying
i just went onto Macy's too see the cyber Monday sales. Well, i was looking for the Keurig, as our coffee pot is dying. Leaked again this morning.
So i thought great, perfect time to replace. Well when i went onto Macy's, the sales look fabulous, however, i realized they had jacked the prices up to bring them down. So essentially, the same the Keurig we want looks like it is discounted $80 on Macy's but when you to go Keurig.com, that is the price of it normally anyway. So zero savings.

coffeeforless.com has great prices on the kcups. BB&B also has 20% off coupons that you can use on them in store.

I'm excited to get it. Our coffee pot is dying a slow death now. LOL
"Santa" was going to get the Keurig for us, however after brewing this morning and having half the pot on the counter and floor, i'm not so sure we can wait anymore. Second time it has happened.
We LOVE our Keurig...I've raved about it on here a lot already! I highly suggest "splurging" for at least the $129 model...well worth it from the $89 model. I also used the 20% off coupon at BB&B.
DH and I both use it in the am, I use it every afternoon, and we both have another cup after dinner. More on the weekends. Plus, it saves us sooooooo much in Starbucks, Dunkin, Tim Hortons trips.
Yeah, lots of "marking up to mark down" this time of year. It stinks.
We were actually looking at the $169 model because you can use the insert and brew your own coffee if you choose.
So you were able to use a 20% coupon at BB&B? I wasn't sure if there were any restrictions at all.
I believe you can use the My K cups in ALL models - we haven't tried because I am loving the no clean up of the reg K cups. I think the only major difference is the reservoir size and in the 169+ you can brew 12 oz (where the other stop at 10...but the Kcups only come in one size so I think you would have to pop in two??...not sure how that works).
DH refused to spend any more money because I made him buy me an espresso machine that we never use...hehe!!
And yep - the Keurig is ok for the 20% off coupon. So you would save a bunch on the $169 model!!
I HEART this.. Yes.. Macys has always done this.. but Kohls does it even worse.

Yeah, and not even just at Christmas. When we were doing our wedding registry, we registered for our fine china at Macy's because BB&B didn't have it in the color we wanted, and mikasa.com didn't have a registry. It made me mad, though, that Macy's SALE price was the same as mikasa.com and BB&B regularly. I really hoped no one bought it for the non-sale price!
