Is anyone else (Christmas related)

In the dark about what to get their DH for Christmas?  He's literally given me zero hints and I'm at a loss.  What are you planning as far as gifts go?  Maybe you'll help me jumpstart my list.

Re: Is anyone else (Christmas related)

  • What does your DH like to do - into sports? outdoor activities? music?
  • I'm researching getting him Blackhawks tickets at the moment.

  • So far, I'm getting DH an engraved Shuffle for his train rides in the early morning, a few books, a video game, some clothes, and I'm deciding between a weekend away or some cooking classes.

  • i hear ya...my hubby and i always agree to not exchange gifts and just do a night/weekend out. but he always gets me something and then i end up feeling like a jerk. maybe i'll deposit money into his online poker account, and when he wins big we'll both be happy!
  • Yes, this year is tough, I have no idea what to get him.  He told me 2 things that he wanted, but then told his brother the same two things, and his brother bought them for him!  Ugh.  I'll have to figure something out eventually.  I hate not knowing what to get him, especially since I know he is done with my gift and is super excited about it, so I don't want my gift to him to be lame!

  • Good question....and good answers!  Thanks for the ideas ladies!  Big Smile

We always buy stuff for eachother....and tend to go over board.  But this year, with the economy and the wedding we didnt' think we would.  But maybe a weekend away or cooking classes would be good.....something that will be good for both of us!

  • We always go crazy at Christmas too. We agreed to "keep it sensible" (no idea what that means) but then I went and bought him an Ipod touch. He really does need one and I want him to have it before we leave for Asia on 12/31.

I also got him the Planet Earth DVD set, and an ornament (we are starting a tradition of buying an ornament each year).
