Brutal!!!

Oh man, I just completed my first workout since about a month before the wedding and it was BRUTAL! I barely made it through but I managed to huff and puff my way to the end. It makes me so sad because before the wedding I was doing so well with it (I hate working out so I was really proud of myself) but the closer it got to the wedding, the less time I had and now I am back at square one. But seeing how out of shape I have gotten makes me want to work twice as hard to get back to where I was before the wedding. So to any of you ladies looking for motivation in this area -YOU CAN DO IT!!!! I am right there making an a$$ of myself and hyperventilating along with you! I plan on working out 3 days a week if you want to do an encouragement/buddy system. GL to any of you in this position too :)

  • I NEED to get back in the workout groove....like yesterday....  Encouragement/buddy system sounds GREAT to me!!!
  • I work out regularly now, but I haven't worked out since before Thanksgiving and I'm not looking forward to this afternoon's workout. I bet I've gained at least 5 lbs - ugh. Not looking forward to this one.

  • Ugh, I had a really hard time getting back into my workout routine, too.  I'm still having trouble keeping a regular schedule and am nowhere near the endurance level I was before the wedding.  I can't believe I'd gotten so soft in just a month--pathetic!

  • I had an all out battle with myself this morning. The alarm was set for 5am and my gym bag was packed and ready to go, and when the alarm went off I was like "really? don't I just want to sleep another hour?" BUT...I dragged myself out of bed and went to the gym!! We can do this ladies!!! :)

  • I'll need some extra encouragement too.  I keep finding excuses to not exercise, at all...  I was doing really well before the wedding, people were noticing, and I fit into clothes I haven't fit into in years!  Then, the stress of last-minute wedding stuff took over, and I haven't exercised at all since the beginning of October! Embarrassed
  • I haven't worked out since Wed.  We went to the ocean and I ate and drank with no remorse.  I am going tonight and if it hurts, i'll cry later.
