how was thanksgiving?
how was everyone's long weekend?
my mom came in last Monday and she and I cooked-it was just us and DH. But it was sooo good. We're still eating leftovers and we froze some as well.
Friday we left for Vegas and came back yesterday. Huge mistake. Took us nearly 10 hours....

It was great - had a bunch of friends over on Thursday for dinner, then shared leftovers with more friends on Saturday. And there's still more!
Braved the crowds for Black Friday shopping, and it seems we appear unscathed compared to your heinous drive back from Vegas.... Did you win anything while you were there at least??
Our long weekend was great. We split Thursday between both our families as planned. On Friday we got together with my family for dinner since it was my brothers birthday. Saturday and Sunday we just hung out at home and ran some errands. It was a nice relaxing long weekend that didn't last long enough.
Ugh, 10 hours from Vegas. That's terrible, I can't imagine sitting in traffic that long.
