Hi ladies. Not sure if we are doing this or not, so I'm doing a poll. I REALLY want to have a GTG & prefer Friday 12/11 so I can drink![Poll]

I was going to let the previous thread run for another 24 hours or so, since I posted it right before Thanksgiving and I figured most people werent around. My only concern is that it seemed like some people who preferred Thursday could not make Friday, but Friday people could potentially make both dates.... at this point lets just make the winner of this poll the date.

I'd prefer Friday, but could do Thursday.  I'll just need to be sure to only have a couple if we go on Thursday.

Sounds like there might be a better turnout if we combine with the knot/nest GTG which is already planned for Thursday @ Cactus. See the other poll.

For me, an all you can drink special is bad news bears! As of now, I wouldn't be able to do next Thursday anyway, the hubs works all day and the dog can only hold it for 8 hours.

I say at this point we call it for Friday (and I say this as someone who voted for Thursday, since I have another event later Friday evening).

Lets figure out a place/time to meet. 

I am going to throw out Blue Line Lounge and Grill. Its in Wicker Park under the Damen blue line stop (but there is also street parking near by), they have an extensive martini and cocktail list, big booths, and cheap ($8-12) food.

That sounds great! I've always wanted to go there, but never ended up making it.

I'm up for anytime after 6/6:30.

Works for me! I can take the blue line from work right there. There is a North Ave bus I can take east to the red line correct?

I can be there by 5:30. Cirrus, what time did you want to meet so you can make your other event?

I can be there by 5:45 if I come straight from work.  I teach arts enrichment after school on Fridays and that is over at 4:45 on the far south side.

I can be on the West Side by 5:30.  The North Ave. bus will take you straight to the Red Line to head home later.

5:30 or 6 works for me. I have a going away party at a friends not too far from there around 8-9ish.

I dont care...but in the effort of not going back and forth more, I will do that right now...
