And I wanted to say that I am having the hardest times doing my TY notes. Our wedding was 10-24, and I have 2 boxes sitting at our desk...unopened.

 

Anyone else not having any energy to do them? Normally, I love to sit down and write them (I've done them for everything), but after all of our wedding DIY...I'm just...bah.

Yeah, we're quickly approaching the 2 month mark and only have about 10 complete.

We got married 10.24 as well and I have about a 1/4 done but I can't convince myself to sit down and do anymore. I'm not a procrastinator (sp?) normally but I have so much to do with the holiday's coming up that I haven't had the time or energy. I have set a goal to have them done by this weekend so that I can do our christmas cards next week.

I too am having a hard time.  We got a few done but have way too many to go.  My goal is to have them done by the 2 month mark.

I did more then half of mine done.  I didn't send ones to people that didn't bring a gift, and I don't feel bad.  I have maybe 10 more to do...maybe this weekend

Good, I thought I was the only one who was late...I remember seeing posts about this like a month ago so I was too ashamed to say anything! My wedding was 10.24 and we just got our cards in from Vista Print (my photog took forever to send me the picture for the card and then they took forever to arrive). DH has been working nights for the past 3 nights so I forced myself to do them all while he has been gone. I just completed my last envelope and it feels great! I will say that forcing myself to do them in such a short time SUCKED! I have had a migrane every night by the time I am done and they started sounding really redundant and cheesey ("thank you so much for coming. we had so much fun with you. It meant so much to us to have you there...") I sound retarded and like I am in junior high on the last ones! Oh well - too late now! Can't wait to drop them in the mail tom. GL with yours ladies...I def. need a glass of wine now

I was having trouble, but once I got started, I just kept on going!  I had a list printed of the names and addresses and it felt good to mark them off one by one! DH has 2 left to do... 2, that's it! Those 2 have been sitting on the coffee table for about 3 weeks now... hopefully they'll be done this week and it'll all be over.

haven't even started them yet (10.11).  I'm totally planning to send TY's to guests who didn't bring gifts...  maybe it will show them that we noticed the lack of gift.  We've had people tell us they simply forgot to leave the card at the reception, but we still haven't received it now...

I also apparently need to send out my photosharing cards in them, since it seems NO ONE took any that day (I have SO many left over), and only 2 close friends have uploaded pics...

Yep, my wedding was 10-12 and I've just about had it with thank you notes.  I'm almost done, I think I have about 10 more to write.  I can't wait to get them done.

The wedding was 10/4. I had them all filled out and in envelopes with the name on the front within two weeks. Hubby was supposed to add his name, the addresses and mail them. Guess what's still sitting on our china cabinet?

I was told they should all be done by a month after the wedding, and I did manage that.  However, there were a fair number that were written in the last half day of that!

Wedding was 10/17 and haven't even started them yet. We finally have the pictures that we are planning to send out with them but the thank you cards haven't arrived yet, they should be here today or tomorrow...I hope, then we will have to get busy.

That's a good idea about sending it to people who did not send a gift. I should have done that, but I am not going to waste the money on cards for people who didn't bother at least bringing a card.  My sisters new boyfriend came, didn't bring a card, and now I dislike him even more.

Ok I thought I was the only one. It will be 2 months on the 9th and I dont even have half of them done. I was going to try and finish them off this week by doing 10 a night at least. I did the ones for my shower the very next day, but for some reason I just haven't had the energy to sit down and do them.
