March 2006 Weddings
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Re: Help!
The first one, I'm not sure about. I deleted a post on my board related to an auction that someone came on only to promote - free promotion: not on my board - take out an ad. I might have that same mentality about this post.
The second one, I'd let it go MAYBE. Do some Googling to see if you can connect that email address with the "venue" aka parents' house in any way. If it's a serious venue and that email address is tied to it, she's a vendor. If it's just a friend doing some free advertising for her friend's parents, that's free advertising to, so IDK. It looks like your board laid down the law, but you might want to check with Annie if it deserves a delete (not a ban though, IMO).
