What is the policy on "Please vote for me at this contest" posts? This is from someone I've never seen on the board before.

I think if they only post it on one, maybe two boards they're allowed, even though they are annoying. But if they do it on 3+ boards, it's considered spam and Delete/Banworthy
If it's just on your board, maybe you should send them a PM or a comment in their thread saying that if they want people to actually vote for them, maybe they should participate in the board a little.
