Hey, there! I just saw you online and thought I'd see how the big move went. Did everything go smoothly? How did the pups do?
Thinking about you, and hoping you are doing well! I wish we could have made a GTG before you moved.
Re: *DrVWife*
Aw, thanks for thinking of me!
Our move went rather smooth. The movers came and packed up our stuff on the 16th and loaded the truck on the 17th. Then I had the pleasure of cleaning our house before leaving for Rhode Island on the 19th. DH graduated on Nov 20th and we drove down here (North Carolina) on the 22nd. Our stuff was delivered the next day. We only had to go a week without our stuff...not bad at all. Some families go weeks without their stuff. One of DH's classmates, who is stationed down here as well, has not found a house yet and therefore her stuff is in storage and she is living out of her suitcases right now. Not fun! The good and bad of it is that my house is totally unpacked and pretty much put away and organized...due to the fact that I do not have job yet. And it does not look promising for getting a job....
The pups did great for the move and they are loving having a fenced backyard to run around in. I still have to go get a follow up blood test for Tully to check his kidney function. He seems to be doing great though...eating his normal food and is not lacking in energy!
I was bummed that we were not able to do a GTG before I left...I was really hoping to catch up with everyone before moving away. I guess I just have to keep updated with everybody on here!
How are your girls doing?
So glad to hear everything went smoothly! That's quite a big change, but it sounds like you and your pups are settling in nicely (and you've been reunited with your Dh). Congrats on the new house, too! You'll have to show us some pictures soon.
A fenced in yard sounds fantastic.
My girls are doing really well....growing like weeds and constantly amazing us everyday.
Glad to hear you are doing well! Stay in touch!
